What is Phronema?

In the Orthodox tradition, phronema refers to the mind of the Church. A way of seeing shaped by Christ, prayer, beauty, reverence, and Holy Tradition.

Phronema is dedicated to documenting the sacred moments found within the life of the Church. Weddings, baptisms, feast days, pilgrimage, family, and the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed.

The focus is not overly posed imagery, but the timeless beauty present within Orthodox worship and daily life. Candlelight, incense, icons, movement, prayer, and the people gathered together in Christ.

Phronema exists to preserve these moments with honesty, care, and reverence.

Phronema offers photography and film coverage for weddings, baptisms, liturgical events, and family portraits throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
